On this site you will find a variety of art projects created by multimedia artist, Jacalyn Lopez Garcia. Information posted on this site has become the source of inspiration for Jacalyn's media installations that have been featured at various museums and galleries.
The impetus for many of the projects Jacalyn creates are intended to challenge audiences to think in unconventional ways with regard to "what art is" or "what art can be." For example, these projects were created to explore new possibilities for the gaze and they are further intended to examine contemporary themes about what shapes women's sexual identities and fantasies.
